CMIT students are required to wear uniforms unless told otherwise by staff who have administrative permission to make such decisions. We will follow the guidelines as set by PGCPS in regards to wearing face masks.

Standard Uniform

Must have CMIT Logo

Solid purple or solid gold polo

Spirit wear tops with CMIT Logo pre-approved by the administration and purchased by a pre-approved vendor are permitted daily.

Any garment worn under the polo that is visible must be a solid black, white, yellow, purple, or gray.
Pants/Skirts/Shorts

Must be khaki material

Solid-colored khaki or navy
-
Shorts and skirts must be knee-length or longer.

Pants/shorts/skirts must be kept at the waist.

No cargo pants, jeans, yoga pants, leggings, sweatpants, rips, or embellishments
Shoes
Outerwear

Hoods are not permitted. Tucking the hood is not an option.

Any outerwear worn without the CMIT logo must be placed in the student’s locker once they enter the school building.

Jackets, sweatshirts, pullovers, windbreakers, and other similar items worn in the school building must have a CMIT logo and be pre-approved by the administration and purchased by a pre-approved vendor.

Blankets are not permitted.
Accessories:

No hats, bandanas, do-rags, skull caps, sweatbands, or bonnets.

Headscarves for cultural or religious purposes are permitted and must be solid black, white, gray, purple, or gold.

PE / Gym
|

Students must wear sneakers during their Personal Fitness class.

Students will not be changing for class and will be given a minute at the end of the period to freshen up.

Students cannot wear PE sweatpants during the school day.

Formal / Field Trip Uniform / Picture Day
|

Formal school uniforms will be worn during field trips and picture day.

Solid navy blue or khaki pants (No cargo pants, jeans, yoga pants, leggings, sweatpants, rips, or embellishments)

Shoes of any color (No slippers, slides, flip flops, or Crocs)

Dress Down Days

Attire must correspond with the PGCPS dress code

Students are still prohibited from wearing hats, bandanas, do-rags, skull caps, sweatbands, bonnets, or hoods.

Shoes must have a hard bottom.

No pajamas

Repeat violations will be addressed by the PGCPS Student Code of Conduct and will result in loss of privileges.
